About the Growth Team:


The Growth team’s goal is to make it exceptionally easy for people around the world to discover, try, buy, and adopt our suite of products and services. As a result, our team is responsible for driving sustainable business growth by increasing acquisition, onboarding, activation, monetization, and conversion throughout the end-to-end growth funnel. We use experimentation, user feedback, and data-driven insights to guide our work and optimize the customer experience.


About the Role:

As the Growth Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving Uniqode’s success by enhancing customer value and promoting seamless transitions from free to paid plans. Your efforts will ensure customers not only choose Uniqode but also stay engaged and increase their usage over time. While your primary focus will be solving customer problems, you will prioritize initiatives that deliver the most significant business outcomes.

Key Focus Areas:

  • User Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to attract and engage new users. Focus on optimizing the website and marketing channels to increase trial sign-ups. Example challenge: “Design a campaign that leverages social proof to boost trial sign-ups.”

  • User Activation: Analyze and improve the user onboarding experience to ensure new users quickly understand and derive value from the product. Example challenge: “Develop a step-by-step onboarding process that reduces the time to first QR Code creation.”

  • Conversion Optimization: Increase conversion rates from free to paid plans by enhancing feature accessibility and user satisfaction. Example challenge: “Create and test a personalized in-app messaging campaign to highlight premium features and encourage upgrades.” “Analyze usage patterns to identify which features are most correlated with long-term retention and develop a plan to promote these features.”


  • Retention and Engagement: Identify key factors that drive user retention and engagement, and develop features or programs to support these drivers. Example challenge: “Implement a loyalty program that rewards users for regular usage and referrals.”

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the growth funnel. Lead and manage growth projects from ideation to implementation. 

  • Plan and manage sprints and develop the strategic roadmap for the growth squad, prioritizing tasks to maximize impact and efficiency.

  • Maintain a robust reporting system to track key performance indicators. Review and analyze metrics regularly to identify any unexpected trends as well as opportunities to push towards target goals.

  • Analyze user behavior data sets to uncover insights, trends, and patterns that inform strategic growth initiatives and business decisions.

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, design, engineering, and data to build and test experiments focused on improving activation and conversion metrics.

  • Play a key role in growth roadmap planning, advocating for marketing initiatives that support our monetization and retention goals, and clearly articulating their value to key stakeholders.


About You:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product marketing, growth, product management, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering impactful results.

  • Growth Expertise: Demonstrated success in tackling growth-related challenges, particularly in activation, onboarding, and monetization. Proficient in using A/B testing tools (Optimizely, LaunchDarkly) for rapid iteration and employing BI tools (Looker, Amplitude, MixPanel) to measure impact.

  • Strategic Insight: Deep understanding of key business KPIs such as conversion, engagement, retention, and churn.

  • Messaging & Copywriting: Strong ability to craft compelling messaging and copy that clearly articulates the product’s value proposition, resonates with target audiences, and drives desired actions.

  • Collaborative Mindset: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Design, Engineering) to drive organizational objectives and achieve business outcomes.

  • Leadership & Initiative: Strong ability to take ownership of projects, drive them to completion, and influence the direction of initiatives beyond your immediate responsibilities.

  • Adaptability & Versatility: Comfortable navigating ambiguous problems, defining solutions, and rallying support for growth initiatives. 

  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Proficient in using analytical tools (e.g., Metabase, Amplitude, Intercom, Google Analytics) to analyze data, extract insights, and inform strategic decisions.
